Message to the Blackman

CHAPTER 76

A PROGRAM FOR SELF-DEVELOPMENT

bar1e.gif (231 bytes)

We must remember that we just cannot depend on the white race ever to do that which we can and should do for self. The American so-called Negroes are like the Bible story of Lazarus and the rich man, the story that Jesus must have foreseen at the time. This Bible beggar was charmed by the wealth of the rich man to whom he was a servant, and he could not make up his mind to go seek something for self.

This beggar was offered a home in Paradise but could not make up his mind to leave the gate of his master, the rich man, wishing for that which God had in store for destruction along with its owner. The beggar’s eyes could not turn from that perishable wealth. So it is with the American Negroes; they are charmed by the luxury of their slave-master, and cannot make up their minds to seek for self something of this good earth, though hated and despised by the rich man and full of sores caused by the evil treatment of the rich man. On top of that, he is chased by the rich man’s dogs and still remains a beggar at the gate, though the gates of Paradise were ever open to him and the gates of hell were open to receive his rich master.

The American Negroes have the same gates of Paradise open to them but are charmed by the wealth of America and cannot see the great opportunity that lies before them. They are suffering untold injustices at the hands of the rich; they have been and still are being lynched and burned; they and their women and children are beaten all over the country, by the rich slave-masters and their children. The slaves’ houses and churches are bombed by the slave-masters; their girls are used as prostitutes and at times are raped in public. Yet the Negroes are on their knees begging the rich man to treat them as the rich man treats himself and his kind. The poor beggar kindly asks for the crumbs, a job and a house in the neighborhood of the rich man.

The Negro leaders are frightened to death and are afraid to ask for anything other than a job. The good things of this earth could be theirs if they would only unite and acquire wealth as the masters and the other independent nations have. The Negroes could have all of this if they could get up and go to work for self. They are far too lazy as a Nation — 100 years up from slavery and still looking to the master to care for them and give them a job, bread and a house to live in on the master’s land. You should be ashamed of yourselves, surely the white race has been very good in the way of making jobs for their willing slaves, but this cannot go on forever; we are about at the end of it and must do something for SELF or else.

The slave-master has given you enough education to go and do for self, but this education is not being used for self; it is even offered back to the slave-masters to help them to keep you a dependent people looking to them for support. Let us unite every good that is in us for the uplifting of the American so-called Negroes to the equal of the world’s independent nations. Ask for a start for self and the American white people, I believe, are willing to help give us a start if they see you and I are willing to do for self. It would remove from them not only the worry of trying to give jobs and schools to a lazy people but also would get them honor and sincere friendship all over the Asiatic world and God, Himself, would prolong their time on the earth.

We must stop relying upon the white man to care for us. We must become an independent people. So-called Negroes should:

     1. Separate yourselves from the “slave-master.”

     2. Pool your resources, education and qualifications for independence.

     3. Stop forcing yourselves into places where you are not wanted.

     4. Make your own neighborhood a decent place to live.

     5. Rid yourselves of the lust of wine and drink and learn to love self and your kind before loving others.

     6. Unite to create a future for yourself.

     7. Build your own homes, schools, hospitals, and factories.

     8. Do not seek to mix your blood through racial integration.

     9. Stop buying expensive cars, fine clothes and shoes before being able to live in a fine home.

     10. Spend your money among yourselves.

     11. Build an economic system among yourselves.

     12. Protect your women.

Stop allowing the white men to shake hands or speak to your women anytime or anywhere. This practice has ruined us. They wink their eye at your daughter after coming into your home — but you cannot go on the North side and do the same with his women.

No black man feels good — by nature — seeing a white man with a Negro woman. We have all colors in our race — red, yellow, brown, and jet black — why should we need a white person?

Africans would not dare allow their women to be the targets that we allow ours to be.

If I were not protected by Allah (God), how would I be able to stand before this white man unafraid and speak as I do.

You educators, you Christian ministers should stop preaching integration. The most foolish thing an educator can do is to preach interracial marriage. It shows the white man you want to be white.

Educators should teach our people of the great history that was theirs before they were brought to America in shackles by slave-masters.

Our children should be trained in our own schools, not dropped into the schools of the enemy where they are taught that whites have been and forever will be world rulers.

I am the first man since the death of Yakub commissioned by God directly. I say no more than what Jesus said. He said that he came from God. I say that I am missioned by God.

EARLY R&B PROTEST SONG

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Sisters,

This song was banned from the radio. I say it enough to make you nauseous. BOYCOTT THE MEDIA. The white-dominated media, next to Christianity, is the primary cause of our self-hate. There is NOTHING of good on the television, radio, magazines, newspapers, books, movies, billboards and anything else I missed, for the Asiatic Black Nation in the Wilderness of North America or anywhere else on the Earth.

This song was our way of voicing our protest over the murderous actions of the Ku Klux Klan towards our own people and the devils BANNED it as if WE were the ones committing murder!

It’s just like if a white person attacks a Black person every thing is cool until the Black person starts fighting back. Then they send out the National Guard to arrest the BLACK PERSON!

The white race is a race of devils. All Praise is Due To Allah, Master Fard Muhammad, for The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). You will believe Us one of these days.

Universal made this cartoon.

Believe me now?

THE CENTRAL AVENUE JAZZ FESTIVAL

 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

CENTRAL AVE

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Jazzy Black Sisters,

Central Avenue will forever be known as the place where Black social life in Los Angeles got its name. It was affectionately known as “Little Harlem” due to the influx of Black musicians, actors, athletes, politicians and socialites.

In memory of this Golden Era in Los Angeles History, Ms. Rosie Lee Hooks, back in 1996, started the Central Avenue Jazz Festival.

Now, it has been overtaken by politicians and commercializers disguised as sponsors who are openly exploiting Black Culture.

Nevertheless, there are some bands I want to see. Patrice Rushen and Ndugu Chancler (the Brother who played drums on “Billie Jean”) and some other people you’ve probably never even heard of. (sigh)

I’m sorry if I’m not even attempting to hide the disgust and frustration in my writing, but I went to their website and there’s a little boy, who’s not even Black on the background picture. Every page I went to, there he was. I’m getting disgusted just thinking about it. Why can’t we have anything ALL-BLACK?!?!!!!!

Then there are all of these corporate sponsors and I feel like our little neighborhood get-together is becoming a platform for everybody and their other-than-Black mama to take a bite out of our music. I wasn’t even going to post this because devils read it (my blog). :/

The Messenger (PBUH) taught us that they wanted to hear his teachings, but he would not allow them into his lectures. They KNOW that what he taught us is the Truth. But it is not for them. It is for the Little Black Slave Baby being born into The Truth that will make him FREE. All Praise is due to Allah.

He also even taught us that they used to try and JOIN the Nation. They would write the “Saviour’s Letter” that you had to write to join back in the day, but our Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad, to Whom Praises are due forever, could tell that the person was a devil and they would separate those letters from the ones written by His Chosen People, The So-Called Negroes.

But you know devils do not care. A devil even liked this post. That goes to show their arrogance of ownership of this doomed world. She can have it. They act like they are going to live forever but I know better. They will not tell you the Truth of themselves nor of the time that we are living in – the end of their time. But I will. You will kill them all yourself, right now if you knew the Truth of them, Sisters (and Brothers).

WE, THE SO-CALLED AMERICAN NEGROES, ARE GOING TO BE THE RULERS IN THE NEXT LIFE.

The devil knows this but they are not going to just give up the seat of authority that they are in. They are going to hang on and try to deceive you into thinking they are going to rule forever as long as they can AND try to deceive you into going to Hell with them. But I am going to tell you the TRUTH and let me assure you, My Black Sisters (and Brothers) Their Time Is Up!!! The only reason they haven’t been destroyed yet is because of The Black Nation’s slow-awakening into the Knowledge of Self, God (Allah) and the devil (Caucasians).

Fly to Allah! He is your only refuge from the destruction coming to America. Read MESSAGE TO THE BLACKMAN IN AMERICA BELIEVE IT! PRACTICE IT. AND TELL EVERYBODY ELSE YOU KNOW (BLACK PEOPLE) TO READ IT, BELIEVE IT AND PRACTICE IT. SO ALLAH CAN HURRY UP AND DESTROY THEM.

I HATE SEEING DEVILS IN OUR COMMUNITY AT OUR EVENTS.

BUT WHAT I HATE EVEN MORE IS SEEING MY OWN BLIND, DEAF AND DUMB, MENTALLY DEAD BROTHERS AND SISTERS HAPPY TO SEE THEM THERE.

IT’S ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, despite all of this, I’m going, In Sha Allah (If it Pleases Allah), so I can do my duty and Teach Separation to my people who are willing to listen, and I can listen to some good LIVE Jazz, which is my FAVORITE thing to do……….. :)

Here’s the lineup.

KNOW THYSELF

62884_10200264979241599_1497845784_n

Chapter 18

Original Man

Know Thyself

It is knowledge of self that the so-called Negroes lack which keeps them from enjoying freedom, justice and equality. This belongs to them divinely as much as it does to other nations of the earth.

It is Allah’s (God’s) will and purpose that we shall know ourselves. Therefore He came Himself to teach us the knowledge of self. Who is better knowing of who we are than God, Himself? He has declared that we are descendants of the Asiatic Black Nation and the Tribe of Shabazz.

You might ask, who is this Tribe of Shabazz? Originally, they were the tribe that came with the earth (or this part) 66 trillion years ago when a great explosion on our planet divided it into two parts. One we call earth and the other moon.

This was done by one of our scientists, God, who wanted the people to speak one language, one dialect for all, but was unable to bring this about. He decided to kill us by destroying our planet, but still he failed. We were lucky to be on this part, earth, which did not lose its water in the mighty blasting away of the part called moon.

We, the Tribe of Shabazz, says Allah (God), were the first to discover the best part of our planet to live on. The rich Nile Valley of Egypt and the present seat of the Holy City, Mecca, Arabia.

The origin of our kinky hair, says Allah, came from one of our dissatisfied scientists, 50,000 years ago, who wanted to make all of us tough and hard in order to endure the life of the jungles of East Asia (Africa) and to overcome the beasts there. But he failed to get the others to agree with him.

He took his family and moved into the jungle to prove to us that we could live there and conquer the wild beasts, and we have. So, being the first and the smartest scientist on the deportation of our moon and the one who suffered most of all, Allah (God) has decided to place us on the top with a thorough knowledge of self and His guidance.

We are the mighty, the wise, the best, but do not know it. Being without the knowledge, we disgrace ourselves, subjecting ourselves to suffering and shame. We could not get the knowledge of self until the coming of Allah. To know thyself is to know all men, as from us came all and to us all will return.

I must keep warning you that you should be give up the white race’s names and religion in order to gain success. Their days of success are over. Their rule will last only as long as you remain asleep to the knowledge of self.

Awake and know that Allah has revealed the truth. Stop believing in something coming to you after you are physically dead. That is untrue, and no one can show any proof of such belief.

Again, know that Jesus was only a prophet and cannot hear you pray any more than Moses or any other dead prophet. Know too, that this white race was created to be the enemy of black mankind for 6,000 years, which makes their number to be six. That is not your number or mine. We do not have a number, because we have no birth record. Do not let anyone fool you. This is the separation and the War of Armageddon.

THEOLOGY OF TIME – JUNE 11, 1972

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Second installment of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s (Peace Be Upon Him) groundbreaking lecture series, “THE THEOLOGY OF TIME.”

In this lecture he teaches us of the Knowledge of Self, the Knowledge of God (Allah), the Knowledge of the devil Caucasians, the Science of the Time in which we are now living (the end of the whiteman’s world), the Actual Facts Board, The American flag, The Holy Flag of Islam, The devil’s religion of Christianity and how it pertains to Black People, the importance of homeschooling your children and keeping them OUT of the devil’s schools and much more.

THE BIBLE’S TEACHING ON THE HONORABLE ELIJAH MUHAMMAD (PBUH)

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

793px-elijah-muhammad-meeting-1964-detail

“Behold, I will send you Elijah, the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

(Malachi 4:5-6)

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Black Queens,

Our Beloved Messenger, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah Forever Be Upon Him) is the “Elijah” prophesied of in these last two verses of the Old Testament.

These last two verses of the Old Testament, mark the ending of the whiteman’s world. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) comes at the end of this world. The Bible calls it in these scriptures,“The great and dreadful day of the Lord…”

The “fathers” mentioned in the sixth verse are our Brothers and Sisters in Asia and Africa, from whom we were stolen and brought to America. We, the so-called American Negroes, are represented as the “children.”

Our Beloved Messenger (PBUH), was taught the Knowledge and the Wisdom that we must have to qualify ourselves to return home to our land and people.

He taught us ISLAM, which is the dominant religion of the East, which caused our people to love and accept us, which they would never have done as long as we were in the slavemaster’s religion of Christianity and going in the meaningless names of our slavemasters.

The proof is in the acceptance of the former World Champion, Muhammad Ali by the people of Asia and Africa.

Just a change of name caused the former “Cassius Clay” to be respected and worshipped by his Asiatic Brothers and Sisters the world over.

You must remember that slave-names will keep you a slave in the eyes of the civilized world today. You have seen, and recently, that Africa and Asia will not honor you or give you any respect as long as you are called by the white man’s name. The example was evident when I took Muhammad Ali (the World’s Heavyweight Champion) out of the white man’s name (the name itself made him a servant and slave to the white man). All Africa and Asia then acclaimed him as being their champion. This shows you that all of the previous black men of America who were bestowed with the title of the world’s heavyweight champion were only exalting the white man of America, Europe and Australia. Their people said nothing because they were not theirs and were not enhancing their honor among the people of the world. Just a change of name has given Brother Muhammad Ali a name of honor and a name of praise that will live forever (its meaning). His people of the near and far East acclaimed him and laid the red carpet for him to come among them as a prince.”

MESSAGE TO THE BLACKMAN IN AMERICA, page 43

Additionally, I have learned that many Christians have been taught that the “Elijah” mentioned in these scriptures is John the Baptist. :/

I don’t know how they came to that conclusion. Wait, yes I do. Their pastors, who were taught by the devil liars, taught them this lie.

It clearly reads “ELIJAH.” But the white race are a race of devils and the devil is a lie. You cannot expect him to teach you the Truth.

you do not have to take anything the white race says for truth

In the New Testament, Jesus prophesied of the coming of Our Beloved Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him) under the Hebrew translation of Elijah –  “Elias” – in the book of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 14.

“And if you will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.
He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

So, all you Christians, who are so in Love with Jesus, here Jesus said, “ELIJAH.” So “if you will receive it” from Jesus, “THIS IS ELIJAH.”

In the first few minutes of this groundbreaking lecture, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) teaches us the TRUTH of EXACTLY whom the Elijah of the Bible is referring to.

SUBMIT TO ALLAH (GOD) AND FEAR NOT

62884_10200264979241599_1497845784_n

Chapter 17

Submit To Allah (God) and Fear Not

Islam, the religion of entire submission to the Will of Allah (God). “Nay, whoever submits his whole self to Allah and is a doer of good, he will get his reward with his Lord, on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (Holy Qur-an 2:112).

That and that alone is Salvation according to the Holy Qur-an. Fear is the number one enemy that is blocking progress and success from coming to the so-called Negroes of America. This fear causes them to grieve. The whole world knows the poor so-called Negroes of America have suffered and still suffer more grief and sorrow than any people on the earth! This fear is the fear of the slave-masters (white man) and what the slave-masters dislike. Let the so-called Negroes submit to Allah (God) and they will not fear anymore, nor will they grieve. As it is written: “The fear of man bringeth a snare.” (Proverbs: 29). It has surely snared the so-called Negroes.

The Lord of the Worlds, Finder of we, the lost members of the Asiatic Black Nation for 400 years, Said that the slave-masters put fear in our Fathers when they were babies. Allah is the only one that can remove this fear from us, but He will not remove it from us until we submit to His Will, not our will, and fear Him and Him alone. Then, as it is written, “And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from sorrow and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve.” (Isaiah 14:3). There are so many places that I could point out in the Bible and Holy Qur-an that warn us of fearing our enemies above or equal to the fear of Allah (God ). It is a fool who has greater fear of the devils (white man) than Allah who has the power to destroy the devils and their followers (Rev. 21:8; Holy Qur-an 7:18 and 15:43).

We must remember that if Islam means entire submission to the Will of Allah, that and that alone is the True religion of Allah. Do not you and your religious teachers and the Prophets of old teach that the only way to receive God’s help or Guidance is to submit to His Will! -then WHY NOT ISLAM!  It ( Islam) is the true religion of Allah and the ONLY way to success

THE THEOLOGY OF TIME – JUNE 4, 1972

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Beautiful and Beloved, Blessed Black Sisters!

This Lecture Series Delivered by the Last and Greatest Messenger of Allah, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah forever Be Upon Him) is the most comprehensive exegesis of his entire messengership.

Here is the first lecture.

I had to divide it into parts. But they are all very short. The entire lecture is about two hours.

THE HIP-HOP SHOW OF MY DREAMS

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

THANK-YOU ALLAH FOR ALLOWING ME TO SEE THE GREATEST HIP-HOP SHOW OF ALL TIME – YES, THE HIP-HOP SHOW OF MY DREAMS

(THE ONLY CHANGES I WOULD HAVE MADE WOULD HAVE BEEN P.E. FOR N.B.N. AND X-CLAN INSTEAD OF DMX. IJS LET’S KEEP IT IN THE EIGHTIES!!!)

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum Dearly Beloved Asiatic Black Sisters!

Sisters, last night my musical dream came true. When I bought my tickets six months ago, I knew I was going to like it, but I had no idea I was going to enjoy the show THAT much.

Special Ed got everything started and I did not sit down for the rest of the night (except at the end of Biz’s and during Naughty by Nature’s sets. I need to talk to the 3 of them. They need to change their name to RIGHTEOUS BY NATURE.)

But Ed looked real good. He lost weight since the last video I had seen of him. That one was filmed in 2009. And he put on a bomb show, just him, himself and his microphone. I was excited about seeing him and he did not disappoint. I wish I could transmit the experience of being in the theatre and feeling the music, the atmosphere, the LOVE OF HIP-HOP that was reeking from everybody there.

And there were only a few devils! That was shocking to me. Black people came out to rep OUR CULTURE – OUR BLACK MUSIC! And I loved being a part of it and having my son with me, so he could be a part of it. I just loved everything about the show. Special Ed’s performance really made me know that I was sitting before Hip-Hop Greatness.

Biz Markie came out next and he was very good. I was surprised. I didn’t think I was going to like him that much. His appearance is not too good. But he wasn’t as bad as I thought he was going to be. He beat-boxed and that was very refreshing. You don’t hear too much of that anymore.

He did good until he started playing these old songs and trying to sing. I mean, he was singing like he was a singer… He’s not.

Biz’s Juice Crew Teammate, Big Daddy Kane, came out next and just sexified the whole arena. That man is the embodiment of hip-hop sexiness. I mean, HE HAS EVERYBODY CALLING HIM “BIG DADDY”!!! I even bought a Playgirl magazine for the first (and last) time only because he was in it. He lost weight recently too, relocating his sexy, and still living up to that Chocolate Casanova personality that the ladies love.

BUT

The Brother has mic skills too!

MANY emcees list him as one of their influences.

I liked his Facebook page and that was how I found out about the show! So big shout out to BDK. You did your thug thizzle, homie.

To finish his set, he brought out Scoob and Scrap Lover. They were still good at dancing individually, but when they all three did their routine, it was a little crowded. They are much bigger – not fat – just full grown men now and not the slender young men they used to be. So, it was a bit different, but still entertaining.

I think it was during his performance that I felt like taking my headpiece off. SMH

Then came my favorite part of “The Show” ;)

That’s right. SLICK RICK! OMG. He rocked it!!!! I mean, his show was so tight, I missed his whole performance because I was too busy dancing. I didn’t even notice when he took off his shades and put on his eyepatch. The music was the bomb!

I don’t know WHY no one uploaded video of Rick, or Ed, BDK or Biz, but I loved their performances and recorded all of them. So, I’m uploading my little Samsung cameraphone videos of ALL of them to remind me of that epic night and to live forever in cyberspace. Next time I’ll have a real camera, In sha Allah (If it Pleases Allah). The audio is so terrible, I can hardly stand it. But it’s better than nothing.

I’m so glad Doug E. Fresh wasn’t there. I don’t like him. I can’t stand his beat box. He can’t rap AND he’s a Scientologist.

But Ricky D!!!! Man! I still can’t believe I saw him in person. I am grinning from ear to ear and “The Show” was over 24 hours ago! I heard a song with him and Mos Def this morning and all I could think was how happy I am that I saw him LIVE!!!!!!!! Both of them, now that I think about it.

I saw Yasiin Bey at the House of Blues and he had on the whiterobe from his hotel on stage. SMH #ghettofabulous

But back to last night. Ricky D’s jewelry, OMG. Talk about BLING!!!!! Photographs do not do it justice. “Rainman” comes to mind because he was just “SPARKLY.”

After the show, when I went to pick up my tambourine (they wouldn’t let me take it in the show :/ ), this Brother came up to us and wanted to take our picture. He was impressed with Hakim (you know he was “suited and booted”, actually he had on his Oxfords, but you get the piktcha *in my Slick Rick voice ;) ) and of course I had on my garment. I didn’t wear the Orange one. I thought the YELLOW would be more noticeable. ;) ) Anyway, the Brother turned out to be Kemo the “Blaxican” from “Delinquent Habits.” He was real cool. [btw If you're reading this Brother, e-mail or text me the pictures, if you don't mind. My e-mail is Mrs.LatifahAllah@yahoo.com AND my phone number is (323)684-4777. Thanks in advance, Dear Brother.]

But check this out, when I picked up my tambourine, I looked at the paper you have to sign when you check something in and guess whose name was on it…

DMX

SMH

But, I’ll get to him later.

Anyway, I mentioned that Slick Rick was my favorite part of the show and Brother Kemo said he didn’t like it because he was TOO HYPED. Hakim agreed. They wanted him to be the smooth, “Slick,” relaxed “STORYTELLER” he is on his albums.

I know that at live shows, performers speed up songs all the time and he sped up “BEDTIME STORY”, but OMG. I LOVED IT!!!!!! But I always like stuff that other people don’t like and vice versa, so I maintained my position. I LOVED IT. I felt it.

Maybe that’s when I felt like taking my headpiece off. :/ I don’t remember and, at the time, I was too ashamed to tell Hakim so he can’t tell me either.

Anyway, Slick Rick was DOPE!

Did I mention, I’m glad Doug E. Fresh wasn’t there??? :/

Oh yeah, Treach, Vinnie and KG came before or after Slick Rick, I think. I don’t like them too much. So, I blocked them out of my memory. And don’t think I just don’t like them because of some personal thing or whatnot. I just don’t like their music. OPP was kinda good – the music anyway, but I think it’s just because of the song they sampled – but their LYRICS are FILTHY. I didn’t like it even BEFORE I became a Muslim.

As I wrote before, when they asked that filthy question, I used to say, “Oh no, NOT ME!!! That’s what I said when they did the song last night. I don’t like any of their songs.

Before the show, I listened to their music and I tried  to like it, but… I can’t.

Treach was nice eye candy though. But he’s got nothing on my hubby. ;)

Anyway, after Ricky D, EPMD came out. They really need to read HOW TO EAT TO LIVE. Erick looked like he eats the filthy swine for Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner and all in between meals.

But he summed up the state of “hip-hop” right now. He said “If you go to a show and the emcee doesn’t have a D.J. behind him…
THAT’S NOT HIP-HOP!!!

Then he introduced the infamous “DJ SCRATCH” who proceeded to show off his musical skills. I had forgotten about that part of their show. It was oh, so HIP-HOP.

I can’t believe the person who filmed all the other stuff they did didn’t post the video of Scratch! He should have posted footage of THE WHOLE SHOW! I have been planning on buying a camera for a few weeks now, I’m really kinda starting to feel like I blew it.

I mean, I’ve been waiting to see Rakim, my whole life. This was the FIRST time, I’d ever even heard of him coming to L.A. He’s probably scared he’s gonna fall in love and move out here like everybody else. ;) I mean, he was reppin’ NYC so hard it almost seemed like he was forcing himself to keep believing it’s the place to be.

But DJ Scratch spun that O/G hip-hop song by the Four “Somethings” that MC Lyte sampled on “Cha Cha Cha” and I thought it was going to be Lyte.

You know what???

There were no female emcees!  I think that is what made the show so good!

Sisters, always make it corny. I’m sorry, Brothers are just too cool. We, Sisters should do our own stuff and let the Brothers do their things. And Brothers, you guys need to stop feeling like there always needs to be a Sister. We mess everything up. We understand how you feel, we do. But, stop gaying up. Be Men. You DON’T need some “female energy” all the time. Keep it hard. And Lyte is hard, but she’s not a man. Knawmean?

And I’m EXTREMELY glad there were no devils on the show. EVERYBODY WAS BLACK. That’s the way it’s SUPPOSED to be. And ya’ll emcees need to stop giving our stuff away. Acting like Hip-Hop is for everybody. That’s going to get you the HELL.

This is THE GREAT DAY OF SEPARATION. You guys need to kill that noise. The devil is going to be destroyed, so stop making them feel like they are welcome at Hip-Hop shows. You are committing suicide and taking your fans with you.

SO WHAT if they like the music! They like anything. You cheapen your music when you cater to devils and other races. “Every man must go to his own” and HIP-HOP is OURS.

I know there were A LOT of Puerto Ricans involved in the conception and birth of our culture, but as far as I’m concerned, they’re Black. So, they can hang.

But everybody else needs to STEP OFF!!!

***Deeeeeep Breath – EXHALE***

Okay, now that I got that off my chest, RAKIM was next. Hakim had spotted him, stage right, while the DJ was warming up the crowd and He looked so professional! Like he couldn’t WAIT to bless the mic! That’s a fiend, right there. Just standing there, by himself, getting his mind right before he hit the stage. And OMG, did he!!!

When Rakim came out, I was trying to hold back, but before I knew it, I was jumping up and down a little bit, but I had no idea I was screaming!!!

I turned 43 last month and this Brother had me acting a 13-year-old groupie at a 1985 New Edition concert! I didn’t even realize it until I watched the video! Big Shout Out to my son, Hakim. I would not have been able to turn up like that nor enjoy it as much if I was trying to record it. Thanks Baby, for documenting this historic night for me. I love you.

It took me a long time to be able to watch him perform live. Hakim would be watching a video of him on YT and I would have to leave the room! I am not supposed to be feeling that way towards any man but my Soulmate, Amad-Jamal, but last night I was able to watch at least.

I wasn’t all that impressed. I’m sure it’s only because we were so far. I’m NEVER that far from the stage at any show. But it’s been nine years since I’ve even been out past Sunset and my game is a little rusty.  I didn’t even try to get Press Passes. But we did move up a little bit so that we would have an unobstructed view of the stage. (It’s just in me ;) )

I am so frustrated with him and Eric B right now. They need to just squash the beef and give us some new music. I don’t know WHAT B is doing, but Rakim has only made ONE song that I like since he and Eric split. I bought that 18th letter c.d. and tried my hardest to like it, JUST OUT OF RESPECT. But it’s….well, I’m just going to come out and say it. We all know it. IT’S WHACK.

Admit it.

The Music is what draws your attention and makes you keep listening. THEN the lyrics come in.

Without a good track, I’m not listening. I don’t care what you’re talking about. If it’s that important, say it without ANY music. I would prefer that to some booty bad music. I mean, really. IJS.

I CAN’T STAND BAD MUSIC.

NOT EVEN FOR YOU, GOD.

I even sent him a message on Facebook telling him not to do any of that stuff he did after they broke up, and feel like he did it just to spite me. You know, I take everything personally.

I guess some people like anything. As L. Boogie said, “There’s always someone there who’ll applaud…” :/

But he only did two. The most popular two. One of them is so ANNOYING, I don’t even want to remember their titles.

But he more than redeemed himself when he told everybody to put up their hands and rub their fingers together in the international sign for “MONEY” I held up TWO hands. I LOVE MONEY.

I loved doing that just on GP, but then he did the hustler’s anthem, “PAID IN FULL.” And that was the climax of the entire show. Everything went downhill after he left the stage.

Okay, before I forget, let me scream, “I couldn’t BELIEVE Rakim didn’t close the show!!!”

When they announced him and not DMX, I was livid!!!

How DARE they????

Rakim is THE greatest emcee, period. Dead OR Alive!!!

And they let DMX close the show!!!!!!!!?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was completely astonished and in utter disbelief for the rest of the night.

But now that I’ve had a chance to think about it, I think it’s kinda good.

I don’t know if you’ve heard, but DMX is crazy.

And not the good “hood” kinda crazy.

Not even the funny kinda crazy like ODB.

Crazy like sitting on the curb talking to yourself kinda crazy.

DMX is creepy, kinda SCARY crazy.

My son said he’s on crack.

I refuse to believe that.

I think he just needs some medication.

I’ve been there and it can really help.

I’m afraid some people are exploiting him.

His voice is golden and impossible to duplicate. So, as long as he is able to perform, he’s a money-maker. But he needs help.

Obviously, he didn’t trust anyone he was with, otherwise he wouldn’t have had to check his stuff in. That’s sad.

I felt how people with a heart used to feel when Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker and all those other Jazz junkies used to feel. I don’t think many people care though. As long as they put on a good show. And X did put on a good show. I mean the music is what it is, but it’s the crazy stuff he did between the music that makes me worry.

If I had thought about it, I would have asked the clerk if she would give him a note telling him to read MESSAGE TO THE BLACKMAN. That alone will heal him. I bear witness. I feel so sorry for my dear Brother.

I stood as much as I could stand and then Hakim and I walked out.

So, I guess it’s kinda good he closed the show. If he had gone before Rakim, we would have had to stay until he finished. That would have been very uncomfortable and very awkward. And I don’t do awkward well.

AND, I probably would have run out of battery and not been able to record Rakim’s entire set because Hakim does not know how to press “STOP” when he’s recording. (Just like his Umm ;) )

So, I guess it’s all good.

I’ve seen Rakim perform live!!!

I can die a happy woman.

:)

SOME NOTES ABOUT THE SHOW

* I had the BEST cookie I have ever tasted in my life. They use different kinds of chocolate chips and it was worth the $4.00.

*I was uncomfortable with the alcohol being sold and even more uncomfortable by the distinctive aroma of ganjah wafting through the atmosphere, but I just removed my M.G.T. pin and focused on the performances.

*I got to speak to a lot of people about the Divine Supreme Wisdom Teachings of Our Beloved Messenger (May the Peace and the Blessings of Allah Forever Be Upon Him).

*I DIDN’T SEE ANYBODY I KNEW!!!

*I think this was most of the people’s first time seeing Rakim in person. He never comes to L.A. He needs to drop that chicken dinner (NYC) and get with a WINNER (L.A.)!!! Seriously.

THE EMCEES

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As-Salaamu Alaikum Sweet Black Sisters!

I am so excited I don’t know what to do!

Tonight is the night I’ve been waiting for. I’m taking my son to go see some REAL HIP-HOP!

THE EMCEES

I wanted to go with my hubby but he’s not ready yet. :/

So, I’m taking the person I bought the ticket for.

My son, Hakim Rahman Allah, knows more about Hip-Hop than I do. He knows about Classic, Golden-Era, and current Hip-Hop too. He wants to see X, the one person who doesn’t really belong in the show. But I like X too. He was kinda hard. And I can relate because he’s bi-polar, even though he won’t admit it.

Rakim is the dopest emcee thus far. I’ve heard another Brother who is just as good or better content wise. He’s in the Nation so he speaks the TRUTH. Rakim just gives you crumbs and withholds the meat. I hated that growing up!

I wanted to know and learn where he got his knowledge. I don’t know of any rappers who drop Supreme Wisdom who will tell you that everything they drop of TRUTH came from The Honorable Elijah Muhammad (PBUH) and The Nation of Islam.

That is so cruel and selfish and unfair. They just want you to keep buying their records, so they they act like you can get those “jewels” from them. Suckas.

But Al Hamdulillah (All Praises are Due to Allah)

I FOUND IT!!!! !!!!! !!!!!
AND I’M TELLING EVERY BLACK PERSON I SEE WHERE THEY CAN FIND IT!!!!!!

AND I’m taking my son, The God – HAKIM RAHMAN ALLAH to see the God – Rakim Allah, In Sha Allah (If It Pleases Allah) regardless of his hiding the SOURCE of his Supreme Wisdom. He is still the freshest. It is evident by his last name – ALLAH.

And I will be very happy to boast the “bragging rights” that I saw him perform live. But I am even happier to say that “My twelve-year-old son knows more Supreme Wisdom than Rakim does.”

SUBHANALLAH (Glory be to Allah)
AL HAMDULILLAH (All Praises are Due to Allah)
ALLAHU AKBAR!!! (Allah is the Greatest!!!)

I’m gonna be pissed off though, if he comes out on stage doing some ol’ “I’ma-old-rapper-getting-out-of-breath-rapping-over-the-record” crap! I probably won’t walk out because he is Rakim, but I won’t be happy either. I mean I can listen to the album on YT. Knawmean?

And he better not do some of that whack post-Eric B garbage either. IJS I’m tryna get my groove on. I’m bringing my tambourine and I don’t wanna hafta put it down!

I’m also really excited about seeing Special Ed too. That Brother is HIGHLY INTELLIGENT. I never listened to his lyrics when he was out, I was too caught up in the music, but he has mad skillz.

It will be nice to see Erick and Parrish Making Dollars. I interviewed them once and I saw all the money they made. Erick was with this model looking Sister and boy was I jealous! I think Parrish is married and Scratch is just a little too short. But, it’s good to see them still making cream. Hell, they’re getting mine this time! LOL

Slick Rick is the Storyteller so it’s going to be a pleasure to see him at his craft. Doug is aight on the beat-box. Buff is the greatest but if he’s backing up Ricky D, I’m sure he won’t disappoint. As long as he doesn’t start rapping. Then I’m gonna hafta pull a Project Blowed and kindly ask him to “PLEEEEEASE, PASS THE MIC.” LOL

I’ve never been a fan of Naughty. I mean OPP had a nice track, but I couldn’t get with the lyrics. When they asked the question, I used to answer, “Oh no, not me!”

And I can’t forget the “Juice Crew” alumni BDK and the Biz. I’m kinda scared to see Biz, but I was friends with Big Daddy on FB, and I know what to expect with him. Let’s just say, he grew into his pseudonym. :/

In Sha Allah, I’ll come back with lots of pictures and videos and memories that will last a lifetime.

Hip Hop Don’t Stop.
