Then thought he was always a lot older.

Had to post another one on the strength of the importance of the BASS VIOLIN that is so crucial to the “STRAIGHT-AHEAD HIP-HOP” genre that cemented THE ROOTS AS LEGENDS OF HIP-HOP

I never really got a chance to interview them. We went to their hotel all extra early in the morning to try to set something up and Hub was the first up and ready, ever-present licorice on deck.

I wanted to cook and invited them to a home-cooked meal/interview LOL but alas, it never materialized.

L.A. Headz looked forward to their monthly show / reunion at The House of Blues until they got that late night talk show gig and blew up as they should.

Hollywood’s hip-hop scene deteriorated after they left…. Some things just cannot be replaced…
