Remember I told you how my school was giving away all of its books. There are many ways to prepare it and I have had some bad baba…. It was at a restaurant near the Beverly Center and I was so surprised because I thought it was impossible to make a bad batch of Baba. I suppose with what I know now, I could have doctored it up with a little pure pepper and lemon juice, perhaps some garlic salt. (That is like my thing right now. Iʻm wondering why no one has bothered to make and bottle GARLIC PEPPER??? They make Lemon Pepper. Why not Black pepper and garlic salt or just BLACK PEPPER AND GARLIC – garlic pepper! Pepper Garlic? Yummy!!! 😋 Iʻm making my own!)

He is missing work and distracted. He has promised to quit but gambling is a serious addiction and his efforts to stop have been in vain.

I read a book wherein a Sister thought her husband was being unfaithful but when he wasnʻt with her, he was actually spending his time GAMBLING at the horse races!!!

I am not sure the extent of your problem and luckily I have not had any personal encounters with a gambler.
But just break down the name:
The root is GAME!
This society is so wicked that it deceives you into UNCONSCIOUSLY thinking GAMBLING is just a game.
And there are so many ways that innocent people get ensnared in financial problems originally thinking a “game” is innocent fun.
This is why I have a healthy fear of MONEY!

When you mention money I run!
I met a Sister whose son had gotten killed over $200 or 300!!! So sad.
But I have also read about a Brother who had never had a job or been self-employed.
He was a PROFESSIONAL GAMBLER!
I guess like any addiction it depends on the individual.
Your husband, however, is married. Thus, no longer an “individual.”
You two are inextricably attached AS LONG AS YOU BOTH SHALL LIVE!!!
So his gambling affects your entire household.
Counseling has not been effective.
You could try a different counselor.
Having had mental issues the bulk of my life, I know that finding an effective counselor/therapist/psychiatrist/psychologist is like finding a spouse. For me anyway.
There are so many things going on, personally, with your counselor.
Before you even step into the office!
My psychiatrist was Dr. Richard 27X King – THE MELANIN MAN – but by the end of our fifteen year association, he was telling me his problems!!!
Then I would leave.
It got to be pretty bad.
I read a book by an African Sage and he warned us that when you add money to the equation all effective counseling goes out of the window.
Everyone has their own personal motivation.
Some professionals conspire to keep you. a patient.
If you are healed; they lose your payment.
They lose and every nickel counts.
I know it is bad and sad, but unfortunately TRUE.
You have to be extremely careful.
My doctor was HIGHLY REPUTABLE, but in the end he was abusing his position and power. And Allah Killed Him for me.
So, you might consider a different type of therapy. Exercise/Dance/Music; Change of scenery/staycation; Hobbies, Aquatherapy (swimming, sauna, beaches) Aromatherapy/Ambience (incense, candles, crystals)..
My Number One /suggestion is PRAYER DUʻA ALLAH IS THE BEST HEALER.
You have to explain how gambling is a MENTAL ILLNESS. So you have to treat it by changing his way of thinking.
That is Best Accomplished through PRAYER!
LEARN AND MEMORIZE THIS PRAYER!
I GUARANTEE YOUR HUSBAND WILL STOP GAMBLING!!!

Do this for as long as it takes. Generally habits are formed in intervals of three.
Three sets of twenty-three hours, fifty-four minutes and fifty-seven seconds. Three sets of weeks. Three sets of months. Three sets of years. Three sets of decades. Three sets of a score of years. Three centuries. Three millenia.
However long.
You plan to be married till death do you part.
So, ideally, you should be doing this anyway.
Maybe you fell off.
You ever think of that?
What drove him to gambling?
That is often a good way to solve a problem.
What caused it?
Maybe you are discrepant in the attention you should be showering on him
And so your husband is now seeking a way to occupy the space YOU left empty.
Acknowledge this and FILL IT!

The bandleader was a trombonist.
A VERY GOOD TROMBONIST.
Also a singer. He sang and played “In a Mellow Tone” a tune that I was not that familiar with by Ellington. But have since come to really appreciate as an early Ellington standard but without the vocals.
Anyway, I wish. I could remember his name. Iʻm pretty sure I have a video somewhere on this blog. Maybe I will go find it later or you could search my time in New Orleans if you wish.

Seriously, I had a toothache that just would not quit!
I wanted to go the hospital. But it was Saturday and I was not trying to sit up in the ER.
So, I began to lament the absence of shea butter here on the island. As far as I know.
I imagined rubbing some on my cheek anyway and began to really consider my resources.
I KNOW I always have something to cure illness.
And sure nuff, I had some old tea tree leaves in my apothecary.
I got one out and began to chew on it.
I used to chew one daily just to prevent illness.
My son told me I smelled like tea tree oil one day, so I stopped every day, but if I pass a tree I will get some leaves and chew one just as a preventative. The others I store.
So I chewed that old leaf up and it was my first time with an old leaf.
I usually rather, always chew a fresh off the branch.
So, this one wasnʻt as flavorful, and I ended up chewing it to a pulp.
But before I knew it my toothache was completely gone! الحمد لله

Howard McGhee, one of the first jazz trumpeters to create the be-bop sound on the West Coast, died Friday in New York City. He was 69.
Born in Tulsa, Okla., in 1918, McGhee, who acquired the off-beat moniker “Maggie,” first achieved prominence in the early 1940s in Detroit as a member of Lionel Hampton’s band, where he became known as a dazzling soloist.
But he achieved his widest fame as a member of the legendary be-bop band of Charlie Parker and Dizzie Gillespie, which arrived in Los Angeles in 1945. He later recorded with Parker and his own groups on Dial records. He was especially noted for solos marked by a clear sound and a jauntily swinging rhythm. The best-known of his recordings is a 1948 Blue Note album, “Boperation”
After a decade of obscurity, McGhee re-emerged in the 1960s in New York, where he made his home, working with J. J. Johnson and Sonny Stitt. He returned to recording and made what critics consider some of his best records. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, he led a big band noted for a lively sound and a driving rhythm.
Jazz critic Nat Hentoff cited him as “a unique example of a jazzman who has spanned several stylistic eras, adapting himself to each while retaining an intensely personal tone and conception.”

Honestly, I have been uplifting requests for advice from columnist “Annie” and honestly, I feel no guilt because my middle name used to be “Anita” 🙂
Typically, I have been answering letters that I did not agree with her advice or wanted to give an alternate suggestion or questions that she had no answer for.
But I read a letter yesterday, and I thought her advice was especially profound and useful that I would like to share it with you.
A Sister found out her husband, of over fifty years, had been infidelic a second time, which had yielded a second child.
This Sister was utterly heartbroken and extremely hurt by her husband’s infidelity and sought Annie’s advice.
Annie told her to prevent more heartbreak in the future, because who knows how many more children her unfaithful husband has, she should ask him to just come clean and admit a.) if there are more children and b.) what was his relationship with them and their mothers.
I thought that was especially wise advice because when the Sister took her vows, she told Allah and man, that she would remain with him through “good and bad” and I admit it really can’t get any worse than when he breaks his vows to you (“forsaking all others”).
She will just have to accept the role of “first wife” or “Queen” as contrasted with “concubine” and accept her husband, who hopefully is too old to continue his infidelic behavior and will finally be forced to honor his vows to her.
She did not mention as far as I can remember, if she and her husband had children.
But she can follow Rita’s example and many other women forced or willingly involved in polygamous marriages and accept her position with dignity, accept the children, who had no choice in the matter, and love them as her own, introduce them to her own children and just accept their love as a second mother.

We know white people have and will continue to persecute anyone who offers help to us, the so-called American Negroes (Asiatics) .
Should persecution or even death stop the worthy help that will save the lives of the so-called Negroes? NO, it shall not.
The so-called Negroes are absolutely friendless and have sought in vain friendship from their enemies, due to the ignorance of self and their enemies. NOW they are offered universal friendship if they will only accept their own (Allah and Islam).
Seek FIRST the friendship of your own people and then the friendship of others (If there is any friendship in the others.)
We have made the grave mistake of Lazarus and the Prodigal Son, St. Luke: Chapter 15, the one who was so charmed over the wealth and food of the rich man that he couldn’t leave his gate to seek the same for himself. Regardless to the disgraceful condition in which the rich man put him, even to sending his dogs to attack him. The angels had to come and take him away.
The other (Prodigal Son) being tempted by the loose life of strange women, drinking, gambling and adultery, caused him to love the stranger’s way of life so much so that it cost him all that he originally possessed (self-independence and Divine guidance). His father (God in Person) had to come and be his representative to again meet his brothers, family and friends.
Nothing fits the description of us better, the so-called Negroes (Asiatics). Many of us today are so lazy that we are willing to suffer anything rather than go for self. It is true that our God has come to sit us in Heaven, but not a Heaven where-in we won’t have to work.
FEAR is the worst enemy that we have, but entire SUBMISSION to Allah (God) and His MESSENGER will remove this FEAR. The white race put fear in our foreparents when they were babies, so says the Word of Allah.
We must have for our peace and happiness (the seventeen million so-called Negroes) that which other nations have.
This aforementioned peace and happiness can’t come under any other flag, but our own. If God desires for us such joy, why shouldn’t we give up begging and be real men, and sit with the rulers of the earth ruling our own?
Our first step is to give back the white man his religion, Christianity, church and his names. These three are chains of slavery that hold us in bondage to them. We are free when we give up the above three.
The so-called Negroes must know that they have been deceived and be brought face to face with God and the devil. They must get away from the old slavery teaching that Jesus who was killed two thousand years ago is still alive somewhere waiting and listening to their prayers.
He was only a prophet like Moses and the other prophets and had the same religion (Islam). He did his work and is dead like others of his time, and has no knowledge of their prayers to him.
Since Islam over-ran mankind in the seventh century after Jesus and is still a power over man, why didn’t the translators of the Bible mention it? Why didn’t they give us the name of the religions of the prophets since they claim a religion for Jesus?
WHICH ONE IS RIGHT? I don’t know of any scriptural book or religion that doesn’t contain some good. What Allah (God) demands today is a book or religion that is all good, not a mixture of truth and false, not a book or religion that is or has been tampered with by His enemies.
The bible is called a Holy Book, and is often referred to as the Word of God. The present English Bible is said to be translated out of the original tongues, into the present English language by the authority of one King James in 1611.
What is the original tongue or language that the Bible was written in? What language did Moses speak? Originally, the Torah (Old Testament) was given to Musa (Moses) 2000 years ago (who spoke both Arabic and Hebrew).
The Holy Quran was revealed to Muhammad in the seventh century A.D. over 1300 years ago who spoke Arabic. The believers and followers of these three Scriptures are referred to as follows;
(1) Hebrews or Jews, believers in Musa (Moses) and the Torah; (2) Christians, followers of Isa (Jesus) and the Injil or Gospel revealed to Isa (Jesus); (3) Muslims, believers in all of the Prophets of God and the Scriptures revealed to His Prophets. The Torah, Injil, Quran, the Muslims make no difference in any of them, as long as it is from Allah (God).
The Jews or Hebrews believe that Musa (Moses) was a Jew, who brought them the Torah. The Christians believe that both Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus) were Jews. Muhammad, an Arab, was a member of the black nation. The Jews and Christians are of the white race, and they don’t believe in Muhammad as a Prophet of God;
Naturally they don’t believe in the Scriptures (Holy Quran) that Allah (God) revealed to Muhammad. Muhammad and his followers believe in Moses and Jesus also the true Scriptures that these two prophets brought to their people.
The Arabs or Muslims have tried and are still trying to get the white race to believe and recognize Muhammad as a Divine Prophet of Allah (God) and the Quran, a Divine revelation, as they recognize Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus) and the bible as coming from Allah (God). This is sufficient proof to the worship of Allah (God) Himself; if Allah desires to make the black nation the equal or superior of the whit race. Again their objection proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is no such thing as a divine relation of brotherhood between the black nation and white race. God forbid.
The history of the two people is a proof, for six thousand years the two (black and white) have been and still are unable to get along together in peace. This is due to the fact that the God of the two people is not the same.
The Bible is now being called the POISON BOOK by God Himself, and who can deny that it is not poison? It has poisoned the very hearts and minds of the so-called Negroes so much so that they can’t agree with each other. From the first day that the white race received the Divine Scripture they started tampering with its truth to make it to suit themselves, and blind the black man. It is their nature to do evil, and the book can’t be recognized as the pure and Holy Word of God. It opens with the words of someone other than God trying to represent God and His Creation to us. This is called the Book of Moses and reads as follows: “In the beginning God created the Heaven and earth” (Gen. 1:1). When was this beginning? There in the Genesis the writer tells us, that it was 4,004 B.C. This we know, now, that it refers to the making of the white race, and not the Heaven and earth. The second verse of the first chapter of Genesis reads: “And the earth was without form and void; darkness was upon the deep and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” What was the water on, since there was no form of earth? As I see it, the Bible is very questionable. After God had created everything without asking for any help from anyone then, comes His weakness in the 26th verse of the same chapter (Gen. 1:26). He invites us to help Him make a man. Allah has revealed THE US that was invited to make a man (white race). A man is far more easy to make than the Heavens and earth. We can’t charge these questionable readings of the Bible to Musa because he was a Prophet of God, and they don’t lie.
If the present Bible is the direct Word of God, why isn’t God speaking rather than His Prophet Musa (Moses)? Neither does Moses tell us in the first chapter of Genesis that it is from God. No, we don’t find the name Moses mentioned in the chapter. The Bible is the graveyard of my poor people (the so-called Negroes) and I would like to dwell upon this book until I am sure that they understand that it is not quite as holy as they first thought it was. I don’t mean to say that there is no truth in it, certainly, plenty of truth, if understood. Will you accept the understanding of it? The Bible charges all of Its Great Prophets with evil, it makes God guilty of an act of adultery by charging Him with being the father of Mary’s baby (Jesus), again it charges Noah and Lot with drunkenness, and Lot getting children by his daughter. What a POISON BOOK.
The HOLY Quran, it is holy because it is the Word of Allah (God) speaking Himself directly to His Servant. HOLY means something that is PERFECTLY PURE and we just can’t say that of the Poison Bible. Al-Quran the Quran means to the Arabic scholars of the Language in which it is written that which should be read, which was revealed to Muhammad the month of Ramadan 2:185.

Truth be told I think the MAJORITY of the people on SKID ROW for example are not even homeless. They just have uncomfortable residences so they prefer the streets.
Many are fulfilling prophecy in The Revelation – unclean and hateful “birds” preying on the innocent mentally ill and the addicted; some both – mentally ill and addicted to their own self-medicated treatment for their mental illness.
Sometimes you get dirty when you get deep into the root of the problem.

I was at the beach this morning and as usual the sardines were swimming around.
However as I walked I noticed them getting progressively larger!
I realized that sardines and anchovies are not small fish. They are BABY FISH!!!
I soon reached the same class of fish (sardines) who were regular sized fish!!! (about half a foot).
Sardines can grow to full-size if you give them a chance.
Don’t eat them.
Did I tell you about the little Hawaiian who caught one in his hand? ☺ So amazing!!!

Eggplant is a perfect replacement for cut pieces of meat.
Cauliflower works well in spaghetti and soup/stews paste/lasagna pizza
You can add flour onions garlic and finely chop then shape and saute patties or just throw it in a casserole dish and bake like a stuffing.

I grated some cabbage and made the stuffing in a pot over my campfire.
Eat only food that grows out of the earth and live a long time.

THE SLAVEMASTERS’ children are doing everything in their power to prevent the so-called Negroes from accepting their own God and salvation, by putting on a great show of false love and friendship.
This is being done through integration as it is called, so-called Negroes and whites mixing together, such as, schools, churches and even intermarriage with the so-called Negroes, and this the poor and shall destroy with the brightness of His Coming, which means that the truth of the man of sin is so clearly made by God that there can be no doubt that he is really the man of sin who has and is causing all the trouble among the righteous.
